About Us Rob Johannesson Owner, Engineer, Project manager robj@endpointpa.com Rob has been designing and developing custom engineered solutions since 1994. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a BSME degree and having co-op experience with Ford Electronics, he spent 11 years with the Manufacturing Systems Department of Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, TX . There, he developed his passion for "making stuff that moves" and he continued to seek out projects that involved both mechanical and controls design aspects. Some of his larger projects at SwRI included a custom gantry robot for paint stripping of aircraft flight surfaces (wings, ailerons, rudders, etc.), an F16 wing lift & positioner for wing removal and assembly, a robotic winder tending system for fiberglass manufacturing, and a servo pick & place system for hot forgings.When he decided to move back to the Northeast to be closer to family, he took on roles as Technical Manager of the custom...
